Plans are being finalized for the 86th Congress of the Metropolitan Spiritual Churches of Christ. The Board of Directors has just returned from a productive meeting held in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a follow-up meeting in St. Louis, Missouri at the beautiful congress headquarters hotel. Our theme for this year's congress is, "Refreshed by Jesus Christ, the People Have a Mind to Work, Renewed, Restored, and Revitalized" scripture reference: Nehemiah 4:6.
We are requesting all workshop leaders to teach from this theme, it is important that we all be on one accord. Special instructions will be forthcoming to all department heads that are teaching classes or holding workshops.
Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible the rooms are going fast. Just a reminder, dates for the 86th Congress of the Metropolitan Spiritual Churches of Christ is Monday, July 18 through Friday, July 22,2011.

This is a beautiful hotel it has restaurants and many shopping areas surrounding the hotel. There is free complimentary transportation to and from the airport twice every hour-6 a.m. until 9 p.m. on the Sheraton Westport Hotel Shuttle.

To all department chairpersons please have your congress information sent to the national headquarters office no later than May 1, 2011, a current picture of yourself should be included with your teaching information, so that you might be a part of this year's congress brochure.
Information concerning our Foreign Mission trip to Africa in October will be in our next communication.
As many of you may have already heard our International Secretary, Professor Michael L. Charles went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2011. Services were at the Mother Church the Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ on Saturday, March 19. Special thanks to the College of Bishops and those who travelled from across the country to share in the home going services. Please continue to keep our church family as well as his biological family in prayer.
Weare excited about this year's congress; please continue to pray for our organization and that the spirit of the Lord reign down on us as we celebrate eighty-six years of preaching, teaching, healing and prophesying in the name of Jesus our Lord and savior.
