Words of Reflection

Michelle Denise (Mikki) Harris Williams was the last of seven children born to Ruby Lee Harris in Kansas City, Missouri.

She attended the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and Detroit, Michigan, W.W. Yates and Manual High School. She was very sociable and loved her schoolmates. She remained active with her alumni association. She was a well-trained secretary and held the position of Administrative Assistant in several firms.

Mikki was a lifelong member of the Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ. She sang in the youth and adult choirs. She loved her church and professed a hope in Christ.

She married Archie Lee Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece, Rita Gadson, and a nephew, Lonnie Chestnut.

Mikki leaves to cherish her memory: her sister, Gwendolyn Harris Chestnut of Kansas City, Kansas; Jolene Harris ofTopeka, Kansas; Roselyn Harris of Kansas City, Kansas; her brothers, Robert Harris (Maxine) of Kansas City, Kansas and Jon Harris (Helen) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; nieces and nephews, Robin Harris, Gwynne Harris Birzer (Michael), Sharia Harris, Caria L. Harris, Randal L. Chestnut, Ronald 0. Harris, Riquisha N. Campbell, Shaunte Banks, Tony Gilliam, Kyla Harris, Tracy Millbrooks, Alexis Harris, Antoine Gilliam Jr., Lauren Chestnut and Teshaun Gilliam; Mikki also leaves a very special friend, Andres E. Cantero; and a host of other relatives and friends.
