Mrs. Ernestine Walker Stiles was born December 28,
1916 in Lone Oak, Texas, to the union of John and
Tweeda Johnson Walker. She was a resident of Kansas
City, MO for most of her life.
She was employed at the Radisson Muehlebach Hotel before retiring.
Mrs. Stiles was a member of Metropolitan Spiritual
Church of Christ, where she was a past member of the
Mattie Circle of Love Altar Guild, vice-president of the
Mission Board No. 1 and president of the Mission Board
No. 2.
She departed this life on Tuesday, July 19,1988 at
her home.
Mrs. Stiles leaves to mourn her passing: one daughter, Mrs. Josephine Murray of the home; adopted daughter, Mrs. Christine Bowie of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
