The Came
Gladys was born August 20, 1931 in New York City, New York to Alfred Greene and Gladys H. Greene.
The Law
She was educated in the Kansas City Schools. Working and training in the fields of nursing, domestic and others.
The Conquered
She conquered the love of God and Church, and was a former member of Paseo Baptist Church when she was a young lady. Gladys later joined Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ and was a member for over fifty years. She joined the choir where she remained until her health began deteriorating (40+ years). She was a former member of the Young Women Auxiliary of the church. Gladys won the hearts of the pastor and members. She was kind and helpful, when able, and was an all around Christian, attending Sunday School, Bible Class, etc.
Among her survivors are: seven children, cousins, Ann and Norman Hare of Bronx, New York; Mildred Stevens and family of New York City, New York and Verna Berkel and family of Brooklyn, New York; her church family and many other friends.
