Nathan George McGee was born December 2, 1968, in Kansas City, Kansas to Ellis McGee, Jr. and Jaunzetta McGee.
He graduated from Central High School in 1987 and was employed in the food service industry and as a subcontractor for various residential painting projects. Nathan loved all sports and his favorite pastime of playing the trumpet.
He was a member of Chickasaw Nation.
He attended Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Jesus Christ and accepted Christ at an early age, under the pastorate of Bishop James Tindall.
His maternal grandfather, George Goodwin; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lee Thomas and his paternal grandfathers, Ellis McGee, Sr. and Luther Thomas preceded him in death.
Nathan departed this life Sunday, July 21, 2002 at St. Joseph Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis McGee, Jr.; two sons, Nathan and Nathaniel; two brothers, Ellis McGee, III (Sharonne); Maurice McGee (Elaine); one sister, Vonetta McGee; longtime companion, Marie Andrews; maternal grandmother, Faye Campbell; maternal grandfather, George Douglas; his paternal grandmother, Estella McGee; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
