Mr. Roy J. Loren Sr. was born on June 15, 1912 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to the union of Monroe and Lillie Mae Turman. He was an only child.
He was educated in the Sedalia School District #200 and graduated from Hubbard High School. He attended St. Louis University where he majored in chemistry and political science.
Roy was united in marriage to Dorothy Webb on July 30, 1939. To this union two children were born, Barbara and Roy Jack Jr.
He retired from Tenison Envelope Company. In May 1987, he also retired from the Kansas City Missouri Public School System.
Mr. Roy J. Loren departed this life on Thursday, July 11,2002 at the home. Both parents, his wife and son preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories; his daughter, Barbara Jean Parks ( Ronald); four grandchildren, Roy J. Loren, III, Stephaine Workcuff
(James), Ricardo Broils, Sr. (Myra) all of Kansas City, Missouri and Sean R. Tillmon ( Kim) of Euless, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, Latoya Loren, Roy D. Loren, Myron Hollinshed, Danielle Workcuff, Taja Loren, Ricardo Broils, Jr, Dominic Broils, Jackson Loren, Makiyah Loren, James Loren, Raphael Loren, Sean Tillmon, Jr., Angel Broils and Lauxyn Tillmon; two sistersin-law, Mary 1. Webb of Merriam, Kansas and Cecelia Webb of Lancaster, C a~tnja; an aunt, Marilyn Turman, Derinison, Texas; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
