Mr. Ernest Lee Jackson was born on February 10,1920 in Blackburn, Missouri to Walter Jackson Jr. and Eva Mae Hawkins Jackson.

He attended school in Blackburn, Missouri, Sedalia, Missouri and graduated from Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1938.

After graduation, he joined the Civilian Conservation Corp for two years, then he was drafted in the United States World War II Army where he spent three years in European Theatre of Operations. He lived in Detroit, Michigan for two years.He was employed at the General Motors Corporation. He was also employed in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the Veterans Administration Hospital. He later transferred to the Veterans Adminitration Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He retired as a Sky Captain for the Continental Airlines with full honors in 1970.

He was the Co Founder of the Leviticus Singers of Kansas as well as their Business Manager. He was also a member in good standing of the Metropolitan Spirtual Church of Christ for over forty years.

Mr. Ernest Lee Jackson departed this life Tuesday, June 5,2001 at Research Medical Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory; a cousin Anna Lee Adams of Kansas City, Missouri; his church family and friends.
