~ Obituary ~
Sweetie Magnolia Tatum Hubbard was born on July 30,1922 in Roland, Oklahoma to Artie Tatum and Priscilla Tatum Goodwin. She was the oldest of four children.

Sweetie accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Universal Spiritual and Metropolitan Spiritual Churches where she served on the Mothers Board and held the positions of Financial Secretary and Treasurer.

She attended Sumner High School in Kansas City, Kansas.

She was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph Hubbard.

In early years, she worked in the nursing profession and was a cafeteria worker at Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Due to illness, she was no longer able to serve.

Sweetie departed this life February 5,2003 at Research Medical Center following an extended illness.

Preceding her in death are her husband Joseph Hubbard, her parents, one brother, George Goodwin Sr., one grandson, LaRon Fitch and two children by marriage, Evelyn Sykes and Beverly Ann Hubbard.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Donzell and Chester Hubbard, her children by marriage, Jackie, Betty, Christine, LaRue and Chester Hubbard; two grandsons, Damon and Terrence Fitch; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene (Theresa) Devlin, Herschel (Carmen) Goodwin; She was also " another mother " to many of her church family; a host of other relatives and friends.
