Mr. Wayne Allen Goodwill was bom on June 28,1951 to George Goodwill Sr. and Beulah B. Jackson Goodwin in Kansas City, Kansas. He accepted Christ at a early age and was a member of Metropolitan Spiritual Church of God In Christ where he was a Alter Boy . In 1968 he joined the Metropolitan Youth Choir.

He was united in marriage to Denise Holiway. To this union two daughters were bom, Stephanie and Kimberly. He also has one son, Jessie White.

Wayne also served in the United States Navy and at the time of his death he was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter 317. Wayne was very dedicated to whatever he was a part of.

He made it clear that he knew and loved the Lord even through his many ups and downs, pain and suffering he kept the faith that God would never leave him. On his worst days he still had a glowing smile. He truly believed that other than the Lord, family was the most important asset of life.

Mr. Wayne Allen Goodwin departed this life Sunday, September 15, 2002 at Truman Medical Center. Both parents and a sister, Shirley J. Bowler preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory; two daughters, Stephanie and Kimberly Goodwin; one son, Jessie White of Atlanta, Georgia; one grandson Justin Tyier Wayne Goodwin; one granddaughter, Jasmine Goodwin; four sisters, Jaunzetta M. McGee (Ellis), Roxanne Solomon (Clifford), Gina R. Robinson ( Eddie Rice) and Denise Goodwin; two brothers, George Goodwin Jr. (Sandra) and Robert A. Goodwin (Lakeshia); three nieces, twelve nephews, nine great nephews and nieces, one aunt, two uncles; a host of other relatives and friends. Lifetime best friend, Ronald Ferrell, special friend Vanessa Kost.
