Miss Nettie Cole, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away August 12, at Research Medical Center. She was born in Chanute, Kansas and lived in the area a lifetime.
She was a graduate product of the Kansas City school district, where she was trained in the art of Cosmetology. She was a licensed operator for the state of Missouri. She had served as a State Inspector for the Beauty Salons of Kansas City, Missouri.
She worked in the public schools as a Teacher's Aide and served as a Receptionist for the O.I.C. of Kansas City, Missouri.
She was a member of the Metropolitan Spiritual Church for over 50 years. She was a member of the Young Women's Club. Nettie was also the National Secretary for the Spiritual Congress of the Metropolitan Spiritual Churches. She was a Secretary of the Federated Board of Metropolitan Spiritual Church.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her sister-in.law, Lorene Z. Cole of Kansas City, Missouri; her aunt, Willie Williams of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
