DAN PRICE BUTLER was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 24, 1972.

Dan was a member of the Children's Church at the Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ. He was a member of the Sunday School and the Youth Choir. He was a dutiful member, because his Mother saw to him being there.

He was a member of the Marching Cobras in 1986.

He attended schools in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area. He later attended the St. Louis Job Corp Program, where he completed and received his GED and certificate for Culinary Arts.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Mr. Dan Butler and Mrs. Robert Jean Butler, of the home; Aunties, Louise Pollard, Josephine Davis, Kansas City, Kansas, Lela Bell Butler, San Francisco, California; Uncle, Howard Price, Denver, Colorado; cousins, Carl Pollard, stationed in Japan, Stevie Pollard, Miami, Florida; Grandmother, Anna Lee Price, Kansas City, Missouri; God-Mother, Rev. Alice Mae Smith, Kansas City, Missouri; fiance, Denoise Hollis, St. Louis, Missouri; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day GOD called you home.
