Ralph Eugene Brown was born to Melvin and Clara Sawyer Brown April 3, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri. His parents preceded him in death. He lived in the Kansas City area all of his life and attended the Kansas City public schools. He graduated from Lincoln/Coles High School with the class of 1941.

He was a World War II Army Veteran. He retired April 3, 1979 as a mail carrier after 32 years with the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Metropolitan Spiritual Church of Christ over 40 years. He became a member of the church choir as a featured soloist and also was a member of the male chorus. Ralph was a member of the Trustee Board over 25 years and was President of the Board for the past 15 years until his illness, when he became President Emeritus.

He leaves a cousin Ethel Williams of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of other cousins and many, many friends.
